Leadership is losing valuable time in the harvest

On that day, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel was saying that there is not enough work to be done on the prevention of money laundering. Why was Finance Minister Paudel forced to say this in the Money Laundering Prevention National Day 2081 program organized by the Money Laundering Investigation Department? He was aware of the fact that Nepal has not done the things it should do in terms of money laundering prevention law enforcement, investigation and prosecution of financial crimes.

That's why he said, 'For whatever reason, the work that should have been done to prevent money laundering has not been done. After passing the first and second stage of evaluation, Nepal should have been able to perform strongly in the third stage of evaluation. But we were weak in that. As Finance Minister Paudel said, it is almost certain that Nepal will be on the negative list (grey list) of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), an international organization that monitors money laundering.

Jan 14 . On the day when Finance Minister Paudel was saying such a serious thing, on the same day Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was saying, 'I am saying so that everyone can hear . There is no point in beating your chest and pulling your hair because it will rain today, it will rain tomorrow morning . There's no point in saying that the government is going to fall, and there's no sense in saying that the government will fall.

Although these words of two leaders of the same party who are number one and two of the government's leadership echelon were said in different backgrounds, it shows the main concern before us and the concern of UML . If not, why would Prime Minister Oli have to say something in the style of a prediction about the life of the government within a few days and why would he have to reassure fellow travelers Congress?

If Nepal is included in FATF's 'grey list', it is sure to be affected in three areas, mainly economic, financial and diplomatic. If Nepal falls into the gray list, there will be a direct impact on imports and exports under the economic impact, imports will be more expensive and exports will be more difficult. The common people will be forced to pay the death penalty every day.

Just the other day, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Paudel is talking so seriously about Nepal being on FATF's "Grey List", which was certainly shocking. But the next day, speaking at the party's parliamentary party meeting at the Lhotse Hall in the Parliament building, Prime Minister Oli said that national politics is moving in the right direction and said, 'In fact, national politics has gone on a track . National politics has progressed in the constitution and democratic system, in the mainstream of peaceful politics, in the mainstream of constitutional politics, in the mainstream of democratic system . In this sense, we have successfully moved forward according to this approach.'

The day after that, on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli laid a wreath at the shrine of the martyrs at Singhdarbar and said, 'Now we have come to a democratic system . We are moving towards the destination of a peaceful Nepal, a well-governed, corruption-free Nepal, a Nepal that is moving towards prosperity, a Nepal that is determined to achieve prosperity by moving forward on the path of development, and a Nepal that has happy Nepalis . '

In particular, Prime Minister Oli had said such things in different contexts on both days, which he did not have any facts and figures to be believed. Those were the last words . which we have been hearing for years and are speechless .

The public expressions of the leaders should be enough to know what and what problems are currently piling up in front of the country. But that's not the case at all. Because, their interests, worries and compulsions seem to be something else going on . Some parts of the news published in Ekantipur in one day are enough to understand the state of the country. As,

- After only three months of domestic production, the government is going to import 200,000 tons of wheat from India.

- 55 bridges in the Pathlaiya-Dhalkebar section under the East-West Highway are in a dangerous condition. While more than 5 thousand vehicles pass through this road section every day.

- The deadline added for the fourth time is expiring on Chait 18. But only 84.5 percent of the work of the parliament building being built inside Sihandarbar has been completed.

These three representative news are enough to explain our reality. But those in the leadership are either talking about the age of the government . Either they are spending time digging the opponent's back . At the moment, many policies taken by US President Donald Trump every day are falling all over the world.

It doesn't seem that there has been any discussion about how a small and poor country like Nepal will pay for such a change in the global order. While the people of this country are witnesses, on 11 January 2075, one of the presidents of the then CPN, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, issued a statement and objected to the American move, saying that they had given legitimacy to Juan Guaidó, who had declared himself president without recognizing the legitimate President Nicolas Muduro. It was written in the statement, CPN has issued this statement in favor of the people of Venezuela, the sovereignty of the nation and the legitimate president elected through elections.

The CPN condemns the intervention of the US and its allies in the internal affairs of Venezuela with the intention of dividing the people of Venezuela and challenging democracy, sovereignty and peace.

10 days after Dahal issued the statement, the then CPN General Secretary Bishnu Paudel had to try to stop the commotion caused by Dahal's statement by saying that the party believes that if any kind of problem arises in any country, the people of that country should solve it freely and peacefully. ;

Why is it necessary to mention these events of the past at this time, what are our priorities and interests and what topics should be talked about publicly and what topics should not be talked about are never seen among the leaders . Instead, sometimes they look like they are gambling. For example, while speaking at the inauguration of the administrative building of Bhaktapur's Suryavinayak Municipality on January 14, Prime Minister Oli took a dig at former Prime Minister and former companion Dahal and said, 'This three-year government has led the country to the abyss. Dhakuti abandoned . All the places to pay left and nowhere to come. Made it so.'

The next day i.e. on January 15, Samajwadi Morcha Nepal organized a think-tank in Kathmandu. Speaking on that, Maoist Chairman Dahal replied to Oli himself and said, 'The government has done anti-national and anti-national activities to increase the economic crisis in the country and saved the corrupt. We have also tried to collectively advance the opposition parties about the work that has been done to protect themselves and take revenge on the political opponents. But new challenges and crises are being added every day. But the top leaders in the government and in the opposition seem to be at odds. Let's say, they are so willing to open each other up that until that goal is achieved, they are so entangled that they can't do anything for this country . And all of us are doomed to believe this with all the suffering and all the new things in life.
