One person has died in an EV accident in Kalapani, Shailung Rural Municipality-8. Eleven people in the vehicle have been injured.
The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Ekumaya Aryal from Gorkha, police said. Aryal, who was injured in the accident, died during treatment at the Shailung Hospital.
The vehicle (number plate) Bagmati Province 01-002 Ja 6208, carrying people visiting Shailung from Machhegaon in Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu, met with an accident on Friday, Dolakha police said. Among the injured, one woman is in critical condition, five are in moderate condition, while the others have sustained minor injuries. The injured have been taken to Sadabahar Hospital, Khadichaur, and some to Bagkhor Health Center, Katakuti.
