Prem Sagar Karmacharya, President of Nepal Volunteer Blood Donor Society and Central Treasurer of Nepal Red Cross Society, has donated blood for the 187th time by reaching Gamgadhi in Mugu.

Karmacharya has been going to different districts every 3 months to donate blood. He said that he has been going to different districts to donate blood to raise awareness among the local youth. 'Since donating blood is absolutely necessary to save human lives, I have been going to different districts to donate blood to increase awareness among the youth about donating blood,' he said.

It is very difficult to get blood, especially in the hilly districts. Karmacharya has urged all the youth who have reached the age of 18 and weigh about 45 kg to donate blood. He has also demanded that the government provide the donated blood to the sick for free. He has previously donated blood in various remote districts of Karnali Province, including Surkhet, Jumla, and Jajarkot.
