Shri Gopal Siddha Lok Bhajan Panini Samaj has released two new original hymns, Lakshmi Pukar and Shri Krishna Leela Deusi Bhailo, on the eve of Tihar.
The lyrics, vocals and music of Laxmi Pukar Bhajan have been composed by Shesh Narayan Pokharel. This song also includes the collective vocals of other members of the society. Shree Krishna Leela Deusi Bhailo has lyrics by Devi Prasad, Churamani and Ghanashyam Pokharel. Members of the society including Devi Prasad Pokharel and Goma Neupane have added vocals to it.
The videos of both these songs have been directed by Suraj Khanal. The song includes original folk tunes from Arghakhanchi, Palpa and Gulmi, including the western region. Society president Shesh Narayan Pokharel said that they have made the song public to preserve local folk bhajans and culture and pass it on to future generations.
