On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the Independent Power Producers Association (IPPAN), a photo exhibition focused on energy development was held on Friday.
The 50 best photographs selected from a competition held in collaboration with Ippan and the Association of Photojournalists (PJ Club) were put on display. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli viewed the exhibition and announced the winner of the competition.
Energy Minister Deepak Khadka and Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising also visited the exhibition. The photo taken by Survin Kumar Pun won the first place in the competition. And, Kiran Pandey won the second position while Anita Karki remained at the third position. Dwarika Kafle, President of PJ Club informed that cash prizes of 30, 20 and 10 thousand rupees were given to the
winners respectively.
