The members of the Lumbini state assembly have been dealing with cases of corruption, arrest warrants in transactions, domestic violence and government-made papers. Even those who were elected members of the state assembly and did not attend the parliament but were worried about the country by staying abroad have reached the state assembly.

The cases of the members of the state assembly that reach the policy making and foreign affairs without information have started to appear as 'false in the intention of policy making'. In the last one week, two members of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly have been involved in a similar dispute. 

Janmat Party's state assembly member Gita Gurung sent her handwritten resignation to the state assembly via e-mail on 30th of Baisakh, saying that 'no one is above the nation, the country and the people' while staying in the UK. A day after her husband Kailash made it public through social media, the resignation has reached the state assembly via email. However, after seeing the language and procedural errors in the resignation letter, Speaker Tularam Ghartimagar has rejected it.

She announced her resignation two days after the salary till April was credited to the account by the state assembly. In her resignation letter, she wrote, "It is not appropriate to take my salary from the taxes paid by the people." Therefore, I submit my resignation to be released from today's date.' She has resigned on May 30th.

After being elected to the state assembly, she has reached the UK for the third time . He is now in UK with his children for 2 months. Gurung is one of the least present members of the state assembly. Kamala Paudel, spokesperson of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, said that out of 87 meetings of the Provincial Assembly, only 34 days have been attended. Due to her husband Kailash's personal relationship with Janmat Party President CK Raut, she was elected on proportional quota while she was in the UK. After being elected, a leader of the Janmat Party said that he came from the UK and received the certificate of being elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly. The Secretary of the State Assembly Secretariat, Darbarkumar Pun, said that since there is a specific order from the Speaker to sign the resignation in his presence, no process of resignation will proceed until he is present. 

On the 30th of Baisakh, a letter was published that issued an arrest warrant against another state assembly member of Lumbini, Bishnu Panthi. After the arrest warrant issued by the Morang District Court 10 months ago in the transaction case was made public, Panthi paid the amount to the court the next day and ordered not to be arrested . Panthi is the former health minister of Lumbini state. An arrest warrant was issued to Panthi for not paying for the goods purchased on loan by the 'Hydro Power' company, which was opened by a partnership of 50 people to produce electricity in Sisnekhola, Palpa. Panthi also said that only he was defamed leaving others behind. The company was closed 8 years ago . Panthi Kapilvastu was elected from UML in Constituency No. 1 (1). In the arrest warrant, it is mentioned that Pallavi Electra Pvt Ltd of Biratnagar provided electrical equipment on loan to Gautam Budh Hydro Power Pvt Ltd Kathmandu.

In the year 2073, Gautam Buddha Hydropower Pvt. Out of the same amount, Rs 5 lakh was given to Pallavi Electra Pvt Ltd. After the remaining amount was not paid, Pallavi Company filed a case in District Court Morang on 11th Chait 2075 . On November 23, 2077, the bench of Judge Medini Prasad Paudel of District Court Morang decided to pay the remaining amount of 13 lakh 54 thousand rupees and an arrest warrant was issued for its execution.

Janki Prasad Yadav, a member of the Lumbini State Assembly elected from the RPP, was suspended from the State Assembly for two and a half months. He also became the minister of Lumbini's pre-industrial tourism and transport arrangements. Elected from Kapilvastu-3 '2', he was suspended by the State Assembly Secretariat on 12th February 2080 after the authority filed a corruption case against him. The authority had filed a case against him and 19 people including the District Forest Officer of Kapilvastu Division Forest Office Krishnadatta Bhatt in the special court on February 8. He was suspended after the notification of the case registration reached the state assembly. After the court acquitted him in the second week of May 2081, his suspension was lifted.

A case was filed after maintaining a debt of 29 lakh 12 thousand 193 rupees. The authority had accused him of damaging public property without registering the revenue of 6,761 cubic feet of wood and 454 pieces of firewood. State Assembly member Yadav was the coordinator of the Partnership Forest Management Committee when the tree felling contract was approved.

State Assembly Member Dhan Bahadur KC Kirte elected to Lumbini State Assembly from Rukum East was sent to jail on 23rd of August last . He was on the absconding list of the police for 33 years. He was present in the prison himself after the criticism of his arrest started in the province, who used to appear regularly in the provincial assembly. However, on the second day of his arrival at the prison, he was released from prison after paying the amount equal to the remaining prison term.

State Assembly member KC has two wives . Radha Bohora KC, the younger wife, filed a divorce case in 2046. While the case was going on in the court, KC prepared a letterpad and seal of the Rukum district court and prepared a letter stating that 'since the divorce case pending in the court has been decided in your favor, you do not need to appear in the court anymore' and signed it with a red pen and sent it to Radha through a person in the village . However, after the court informed that the case had not been decided and no letter had been sent, in 2047, Radha had reported that she had forged government documents.

In the same Kirte case, the court on June 9, 2048 found Kirte and sentenced him to 1 year in prison and 2,000 fine . KC's arrest warrant has been canceled after paying the outstanding amount of 11 months and 11 days of imprisonment. While KC was on the absconding list, in the 2079 election, Rukum won from the Congress-Maoist alliance in West 1 (2). KC is Congress . According to the provisions of section 155 of the Criminal Code 2074, there is a provision that a person who has been sentenced to imprisonment for up to 1 year will not have to serve the prison sentence if he collects the amount. According to that, after paying 1 lakh 9 thousand 200 rupees, he is now attending the provincial assembly after being released from prison.

Lumbini is another controversial state assembly member - Badshah Kurmi of Congress. He is also the former Minister of Forests and Environment . Banke Constituency No. Elected from 3 (2), he has been accused of abducting and disappearing Nirmala Devi Kurmi of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city-17 Paraspur. Lumbini Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya appointed Kurmi as a minister on July 9, when women's rights activists have been protesting for a long time for making the main accused in the disappearance of Nirmala Devi a member of parliament and a minister.

"Therefore, citizens feel that justice is dead," she said.

Another disputed state assembly member in Lumbini is Chandrakesh Gupta of the Janamat Party. He is also the former Minister of Social Development . There is a domestic violence case against him. He became the Minister of Social Development in May 2080. He was accused of beating his wife Kantikumari Gupta and kicking her out of the house in October 2080 while he was serving as a minister. Mrs. Kanti registered a case against him, who was also looking after the responsibility of women and children of the province, from the police, administration to the Human Rights Commission. Now the case has reached the court.

Gupta has demanded a divorce from his wife. However, Mrs. Kanti has demanded compensation and maintenance saying that she was not allowed to eat and was deprived of health treatment. Even now, Kanti's complaint is that efforts to influence the investigation are continuing. Gupta is elected from 5 (2) of Rupandehi from Janmat Party. Chandrakesh and Kanti got married 6 years ago and Kanti said that they started torturing her after 4 years of marriage. "There was violence even before becoming a minister, it increased after becoming a minister," she said.

Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya's political advisor Laxman Gyawali said that it was unfortunate that the person who made the controversial image could be reached. He said that since the political party concerned cannot be responsible for such persons and their image, the disputed persons also reach public positions. "It is unfortunate that a controversial person reaches the position of MP and minister," he said, "However, in the current situation, the tendency to make such controversy is increasing. However, political parties should think before bringing those who are facing lawsuits, accused of disputes and guilty pleas to public office.''

Lumbini State Assembly Secretary Pun said that only one person in the current State Assembly has been suspended for some time and now he has been released . "One honorable person was suspended for almost two and a half months," he said, "I don't know what happened outside, there is no status of complaint, information and suspension in the Provincial Assembly."

Three ex-ministers of Madhesh province are involved in murder and corruption cases. During the third Madhesh movement, Constable Thaman Vick of the armed police working in Mahottari was killed. Abhiram Sharma, the former state minister of Madhesh province, who was involved in his murder, is absconding after being found guilty by the court.

Sharma, who became the Minister of State for Social Development in the government led by Lal Babu Raut during the first tenure of the Madhesh state government, has been found guilty of the murder of Vick by the District Court Mahottai. Sharma, who was directly elected to the state assembly twice, is out of touch after the court order. Sharma, who also won the second term, became the leader of the Democratic Socialist Party (LOSP) parliamentary party.

After the armed police constable Vick was found guilty of murder, the state assembly secretariat has suspended his position as a member of parliament . Kaushalkishore Yadav, the former MP of Madhesh province, who was found guilty of murdering Armed Police Constable Vika, is in jail. Yadav was an MP elected from the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) in the first term of the state assembly.
