Illegally operated hospitals in Madhesh province are operating under the name Bigbigi, Bandh Hospital
Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh called the owner of a private hospital in Janakpur in the first week of February as an ambulance driver. Calling it 'Maldar Party', he tries to bargain with the hospital owner on how much commission he will give when he brings his patients to the hospital.
With Chief Minister Singh, the hospital owner suggested that the patients should be taken to Godavari Hospital as they were being raided everywhere and their hospital was locked.
The video of Chief Minister Singh's phone conversation with the owner of the model hospital went viral on social media. While many praised it as an adventure, some criticized Chief Minister Singh for doing stunts. Before that, Chief Minister Singh had visited two dozen private hospitals in Janakpur. During the monitoring, it was revealed that most of the private hospitals here are not only unregistered, but they are also extremely negligent in the treatment of patients.
It has been seen that people's lives are being played with by the emergency that came out during the monitoring of the private hospital . There are only 6 anesthesia doctors in Janakpur. However, in the hospital here, about 100 patients are operated on a daily basis. How could 6 anesthesia doctors hold so many surgeries? Chief Minister Singh was shocked by this curiosity.
"During the surgery, it was found that a lot of bullying was done," Chief Minister Singh told Kantipur, "The surgery was done without the presence of anesthesia." In most of the private hospitals, it was found that the operation was carried out by assistants who had undergone anesthesia training for two/four months . Separate operations performed at the same time have the same anesthesia doctor's name . But, he was not in the theater . Their work was under the responsibility of the assistant. He said that during the monitoring of the
hospital, it was found that the ambulance drivers were operating the hospital together. Anami and Aheb have also opened a hospital by renting two rooms. A hospital is not like a shop, isn't it? Chief Minister Singh said, "Nothing can be done in the health sector that is connected with people's lives." Being a sensitive profession, the state government will leave no stone unturned to maintain its dignity and trust. Chief Minister Singh's campaign was not limited to Janakpur, the state capital.
We take action against hospitals that run without standards : Chief Minister Singh
Only in February, Chief Minister Singh has inspected private hospitals in 5 districts of Madhesh, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat and Parsa. According to Santosh Thakur, head of Public Health Division under the Ministry of Health of Madhesh Province, 96 private hospitals in 5 districts have been monitored. Out of which 61 unregistered hospitals have been closed and 23 unrenovated hospitals have been brought into the process, he informed.
Thakur claimed that 22 private hospitals were closed in Dhanusha, 8 in Mahottari, 21 in Rautahat, 9 in Sarlahi and 1 in Parsa. In Madhesh, private hospitals have been opened but the treatment, skilled manpower and service facilities are poor in the monitoring. From the monitoring, not only the illegal aspects of the private hospitals in Madhesh were exposed, but also the extreme carelessness in the treatment of the patients and the exorbitant fees charged.
Pabitakumari Rai Yadav of Sarlahi Haripurva Municipality-5 who underwent gallbladder surgery on January 3 is still unconscious. When he was unconscious, Chief Minister Singh is on a campaign to clamp down on private hospitals after the fact that Muskan Hospital in Janakpur, where he was treated, was operating without registration.
Muskan Hospital Dr. After the surgery, the team led by Gyan Kumar Sah kept Yadav on a ventilator for a long time and referred him to Muskan Hospital to die. Yadav has been admitted to Kathmandu Medical College for further treatment as he was diagnosed with nerve problems during the city scan at Janaki Healthcare in Janakpur. In an unconscious state, he is also being treated on a ventilator.
Although there are many private hospitals in Madhesh, they are not registered, the standards are not met, skilled doctors, manpower are not enough and the health equipment and services are lagging, said Thakur, the head of public health of the Ministry of Health. "Hospitals that are not registered have been closed, while hospitals that are operating without renewal have been asked to come into the process," Thakur, Public Health Officer of the Ministry of Health, said, "Let's not allow unregistered hospitals to operate." We are monitoring.'
Chief Minister Singh's campaign has also created a stir among the power partner parties of the Madhesh government. Health Minister of Madhesh Province Satrudhan Prasad Singh is from UML . He is accompanying Chief Minister Singh in his campaign, he has reached most of the private hospitals with the Chief Minister. However, opposition party Jaspa spokesperson and state MP Manish Suman said that Health Minister Singh should monitor the hospital.
In the meeting of the state assembly, Suman demanded that the security of the chief minister be increased saying that the threat may have increased due to monitoring of hospitals and rivers. ``Basically, you go to the river and raid . "Crusher boys are badass," Suman said, "The incident of killing of activist Dilip Mahato in Madhesh is recent." The Chief Minister enters the hospital. Where and which injection will go wrong again . There should be raids and action in a lawful manner.
Janakpur Dham Sub-Metropolitan Deputy Chief Kishori Sah has also objected to Chief Minister Singh's campaign saying that she has the right to monitor hospitals in Janakpur area. "Many people are telling me that it is your right to monitor the hospital," Deputy Chief Shah said.
visited the government too
Chief Minister Singh visited the government hospital of Madhesh province last October-October. He visited the provincial hospital in Janakpur twice in a row and inspected it. He visited Jaleshwar Hospital in Mahottari, Government Hospital in Siraha and Hospital in Saptari during the night and inspected.
According to Chief Minister Singh's press advisor Anil Karn, during the monitoring in government hospitals, most of the patients complained of lack of care in provincial hospitals. "The Chief Minister had complained about the lack of proper care while talking to the patients, delays in treatment and helchkriy," said Karn, "The Chief Minister had given instructions at that time to eliminate the delays in the hospital, the problems in the treatment of patients and the lack of medicine. There has been some improvement in the government hospital.
In the government hospital, Chief Minister Singh inspected the hospital's emergency room, maternity ward, intensive care unit, etc. Kuruwa's complaint was that there is lack of manpower in the hospital at night, lack of appropriate supervision and lack of medicine in the pharmacy inside the hospital.

Last Saturday, Chief Minister of Madhesh Province Satish Kumar Singh came to monitor the operating hospital on the highway at Chandranigahpur. First of all, he reached the 'Highway Trauma Center' on the west side of the highway. After that, he headed towards the civil hospital which is about three hundred meters east. Both hospitals were operated without registration. After the registration and standards were not met, Chief Minister Singh ordered the letter to be closed immediately.
After that, the hospital, which was closed for a few days, has changed its name and resumed operation after the temporary registration was granted by the Chandrapur municipality. It was found that the hospital's emergency, ICU, pharmacy, doctor's room and high fees were not up to any standards. Chief Minister Singh reached the hospital and searched from the employees of the pharmacy to the garbage bins. Chief Minister Singh had instructed both hospitals to operate only after registration and fulfilling the standards.
Now the name of the Civil Hospital and Research Center has been changed to Civil Hospital and Highway Trauma Center has been changed to Highway Hospital and it has been operated by the Health Branch Assistant of Chandrapur Municipality, Matrika Chalise informed. "We have temporarily registered the hospitals that are currently closed for 35 days," he said, "After that, after monitoring and fulfilling all the criteria, we will register them permanently." If not, we will close .'
When the Chief Minister was monitoring, the operators and health workers of Public Life Care Polyclinic, Chapur City Hospital, Ortho Hospital, Eye Hospital had run away with shutters. Chalise said that now they have applied to the municipality for the process. Sims Hospital, Chandranigahpur Community Hospital, Chapur Orthopedic and General Hospital, Himalayan Polyclinic have also started operations after receiving temporary registration papers. Chief Minister Singh said that out of 11 hospitals operating in Chandrapur Municipality, only Chandrapur Hospital has fulfilled the standards and paper procedures. He said that the remaining 10 have been instructed to complete according to the paper procedures and standards. Chief Minister Singh said that most of the hospitals in Chandranigahpur were operating without registration and ICU and emergency rooms were found to be against the standards.
Arun City Hospital, Anamika Hospital, Garuda Hospital, Roma Hospital, Hope Hospital, Sun City Hospital, Saraswati Hospital, Anand Hospital of Garuda Municipality have been closed by Chief Minister Singh after finding contravention of standards during monitoring. Most of the hospitals have been found to be lax in cleanliness. Chief Minister Singh informed that it was closed after it was found that physical structures were being built inside Garuda's Roma hospital and patients were being treated by placing beds on the balcony. "I have found that most of the operators do not register the hospital in the local, state and association, but by registering the company in the company registrar's office and putting up a board, they are playing games with the health of the patients," he said, "I will close all the hospitals that operate without standards and licenses." I will bring everyone under the law . 'Permission should be obtained from the local level for operating a 15-bed hospital . Above that, there is a provision to be approved by the Provincial Ministry of Health . In the district, recently there has been an increase in the operation of hospitals against the norms. Most of the hospitals don't even have a parking lot to stop the ambulance.
It is mentioned in the hospital standards that the area should be free from dust, smoke, noise, water and land pollution. Likewise, there should be appropriate security arrangements in the area and premises of the hospital. Adequate provision of vehicle parking has been made. But Chief Minister Singh told that most of the hospitals here did not meet this standard. The patient also has a problem with eating. There is no provision of canteen for that . Most of the private hospitals opened in the district do not have their own separate buildings. A hospital is run within the shutters of a narrow house. Such hospitals should not leave immediately if something happens. Most of the rented houses are not earthquake resistant. Skilled doctors are not found in the hospital . There are 62 private hospitals operating in 14 municipalities of Rautahat. The office does not have a record of how many of them are registered.
