It is said that internal competition and criticism are natural in a democratic party. It strengthens the party and also helps in leadership development. Such an idea is often heard in the Nepali Congress from time to time. But not only the internal competition, but also in the election that has to be won by fighting the opposition, how does the internal strife of the Congress weaken the party? What will be the result of fighting among themselves? Congress has always been ignoring it.

is a vivid and ancient example of this, the 2051 mid-term parliamentary elections . Due to the mutual conflict and discord between the three top leaders of the party, Ganeshman Singh, Krishna Prasad Bhattarai and Girija Prasad Koirala, a situation was created where the leaders and workers did not respect the decisions of the party. Therefore, in the mid-term elections, there was a tendency to not only play the role of defeating the candidate appointed by the party, but also to become a rebel candidate. There was a rush to run as a rebel or a rebel against the official candidate of the party . The Congress workers who contested against the official candidate by giving rebel candidature were in more than 50 constituencies.

With the support of Ganeshman Singh, the 'Corrupt Congress Harao' campaign was launched under the leadership of old Congress leader Jagannath Acharya . Acharya, who resigned from the Land Reforms Minister after disagreeing with Prime Minister Girija Prasad, opened a liaison office in Dillibazar to meet with the rebels to defeat the corrupt Congress.

He, who is also a central member of the Congress, had announced that he would not participate in the elections saying that there would be no Congress without Ganesh Man. He pointed to Girija Prasad and said, "The leadership has tried to find a well after the fire in the house." Ganeshman also called for the corruption to disappear. But Jagannath said that all the rebels were not supported by Ganeshman and that only a limited number of leaders and ministers were on the list to be defeated. The internal conflict seen in the [Archive] That rebellion in Congress caused by internal fighting party was also such that one faction opposed the other faction and gave a rebel candidate . In some places, the party did not give tickets and they became candidates themselves. There was a tendency in the party to register nominations against official candidates as soon as they did not get nominations, not only against 36s and 74s. Kavre, Manang, Solukhumbu, Doti, Parsa, Saptari, Dhading, Baglung, Acham, Parbat, Bajhang, Lamjung, Bardiya, Salyan, Ramechhap, Rasuwa, Lalitpur, Nawalparasi and other districts rebel candidates stood.

In more than 80 elections, Bagi withdrew his candidacy with a promise to support official candidates in the region. Ganeshman's request to eliminate the corrupt Congress candidate, extreme factionalism within the party, the opposition of the rebel candidate against the official, and the news prepared by journalists Jeevendra Simkhada and Taranath Dahal was published on October 23, 2051 under the title 'popular rebel candidates did not withdraw their nomination'.
