Even now, communist parties are in the news from time to time. Even if the party itself does not break up, many factions within the party have forbidden each other or are blaming each other as if they are speaking bad language. This is not new in the Communist Party, this practice has been going on for years.

It is January 2049 .

UML's fifth congress passed the multi-party democracy of the undocumented people presented by the then general secretary Madan Kumar Bhandari. The group of CP Mainali and Jhalnath Khanal proposed a new democracy of the people while keeping a different opinion on Bhandari's document. which was rejected . After Madan's multi-party democracy was passed with more than 85 percent votes in the voting on both proposals, majority and minority votes were sown within UML.

CP and Jhalnath became almost roleless in the party . From that time, the CPs started practicing different factions . They nominated Jagat Bahadur Bogti as a member of the National Assembly against the party's official decision.

At that time CP was the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament. The central committee meeting held on 9th October 2050 dismissed CP from the post of deputy leader for doing activities against the decision of the party, including raising candidates. And for the task of punishing 10 people for giving votes to Jagat and engaging in other activities and making 10 self-censoring, a task force was formed consisting of UML President Manmohan Adhikari, General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal, Head of Organization Department Vamdev Gautam and Standing Committee Member Radhakrishna Mainali.

CP, Jhalnath, Tank Rai, Vijay Subba, Krishna Bahadur Shahi, Krishnaprasad Bhattarai, Kulprasad Phuyal, Ghanendra Basnet, Premkumar Singh and Kulprasad Upreti should self-criticize before the working group, the Central Committee decided. The CP was accused of not playing its role as the main opposition party in the parliament and of creating factions.

In the National Assembly election, the CP group was accused of casting votes by making Jagat a candidate. The party pardoned Chetwani along with Ashok Rai, Parashuram Meghi Gurung, Surya Kandangwa, Ambika Sanwa, Dambar Singh Sambahamfe, Shivraj Gautam, Govind Gyawali, Dhanhark Rai and Khagraj Sharma. The central committee decided to instruct the parliamentary party to remove CP as the deputy leader of the party's parliamentary party. [Archive] CP sacked, chance for Jhalnath to improve

The MPs of the UML accused the CP, which had the responsibility of unifying the MPs, of trying to weaken the party by running factions. The central committee decided to suspend Tank from Khotang district committee member for three months. It was decided to ask Ghanendra, a member of the judicial committee, to resign from the said committee.

Because the members of the judicial committee could not be removed from the central committee, Basnet was tried to be made irresponsible by a circuitous route .

The news prepared by Kantipur Daily, focusing on issues such as differences within the UML, action against the CP faction, was published on October 10, 2050 under the title 'NCP UML meeting: decision to remove CP Mainali as deputy leader' .

CP and Jhalnath are not in UML now . Both of them are doing political activities by opening a new party. However, within the UML, there are many practices of taking action against each other in the name of discipline or in other names, even now.
