CPN General Secretary Netra Vikram Chand is the coordinator of CPN Maoist Center, CPN Unified Samajwadi Party, Nepal Samajwadi Party and Samajwadi Front including CPN. In order to solve it, we will have our opinion about socialism with Nepali characteristics.

Do you see the attempt to return to the monarchy possible?
that is not possible . However, as a class, Pravtti has the right to have his say. We do not see the possibility of turning back from the current situation . The country should go forward, not backwards. Our aim is to take the country towards progress.

Why is this system being manipulated?
This is the lack of stability of the state . The state could not give a clear roadmap . Its confusion is also an expression of indolence . People are not satisfied . The common people are dissatisfied with the political instability, economic crisis, cultural problems, foreigner's activities in the country. When I reached Jumla, Kalikot last week, the people there are not satisfied with the current situation. Its expression has come out.

If there is an attempt to return the monarchy, is the counter-front prepared?
People's desire is progress. The republic will be more progressive than the monarchy. It is not possible to go back to 062, 047, 17 years again if it has not met the expectations of the people. There is frustration and anger among common people . What can be the solution?
We are interacting a lot on similar topics . Now a new discussion is needed in Nepal. For the past 18 years, the problems of the common people are not being solved even though socialism has been mentioned in the capitalist parliamentary system . In this system, some people become very rich, others become even poorer . There is a situation where the aspirations of the youth are not addressed, the problems of education, health and employment are increasing. To get rid of all these, we have to go to the progressive system . That is socialism with Nepalese characteristics.

The main objective of the socialist front is to go ahead and bring a socialist system with Nepali characteristics.
