Chairman of the Communist Unity Campaign and former vice-president of the UML, Vamdev Gautam, has said that he has agreed to join the UML. He claims that he is going to join the UML after talks about giving him an executive role in the CPN Unified Samajwadi were not agreed. He also said that he will go to UML and work until he dies, saying that he is not strong enough for communist unity if he sits alone. Ganga BC had a brief conversation with him on Sunday evening for E-Kantipur about this issue:

You were the final preparation to go to the CPN Unified Socialist Party. But how was it possible to go to UML all of a sudden?

Our team had a principled agreement to go to the integrated socialist . But there are many things in it. I was going to Samajwadi with executive responsibility . That's not the case . At the same time, there was a conversation with the friends of UML. It has been agreed that I will go with the responsibility of working in UML .

When will you go to UML ? Has the date been fixed?

date not set . We will agree on when to set . What has happened is that we have agreed that every leader who goes to UML will get a field of work. After I go there, I will be in charge of uniting the Communist Party. I take initiatives for unity with the old and new Communist Party . The most important thing is that no matter which party I go to, the policy of unifying the communists must be passed. And then other things happen . I will work to build two-thirds of the power of the Communists in the 2084 election. Bringing two-thirds of the Communist Party to amend the constitution and build socialism.

Has the political direction been agreed with your UML ?

All the team of your communist unity campaign will go to UML ?

Not all our team went to UML . Some friends go to Maoists . Even if we go to Maoist, we will be connected again one day .

Do you also play a role in uniting UML and Maoists?

should not take all communists together . Whatever mistakes have been made while uniting earlier, they should not be repeated . We must prepare for unity in a new way. Even if there is not one party, there should be functional unity . That way friendly relations can be expanded and united. After establishing socialism, a new person comes to the leadership . Nepal should be made a highly developed country within ten years.

Are you going to be a senior leader of UML?

Now don't say senior leader . He is now the president of Ekta Abhiyan. You will know after going there . The thing is that I am going to work in UML until I die. It is up to the CPN-UML to decide what responsibility to give me.

After talks with UML President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, did you agree to join UML?

is . It was agreed after talking with KP Oli and other friends. Since 2077, I have been talking with UML leaders. When the UML ignored it, there was a discussion with the CPN Unified Socialists . Even though they came close to agreement, unity was not possible . There is a problem within the integrated socialist.
