Now, after being certified by the provincial chief, the bill will be issued as an act and implemented. Academy-related activities will be conducted in Karnali Province through the act.
This bill aims to institutionalize the work of preserving and developing language, art, culture, and history by establishing an official Pragya Pratishthan in Karnali Province.
The bill will establish an institution named Karnali Pragya Pratishthan, and through it, study, research, and programs will be conducted, study Karnali civilization, history, archaeology, and preserve knowledge, culture, and identity.
The bill is expected to support the development of Karnali's folk literature, culture, archaeology, folklore, and fine arts, said Social Development Minister Ghanashyam Bhandari. He said that the bill will play a big role in this region, which is the center of Jwala, Sinja, and Karnali civilization, the mother of heritage and culture.
