Green Tara Child Haven School in Gokarneshwor Municipality-9 has been awarded the Yashodhara Pant Education Award worth Rs 300,000 for its remarkable contribution to the education of disabled students.
LRI School in Kalanki has presented an example of social responsibility on the occasion of its 38th anniversary, a press release said. The school has highly appreciated the efforts of bringing children with special needs into the mainstream of education and has awarded the award.
On the same occasion, LRI has also honored outstanding educationists from across the country. The educationists to be honored this year are Udim Pant from Kavre, Padam Singh Kunwar from Kailali, Premnidhi Ojha from Kailali, Bholnath Ojha from Lalitpur, Anand KC from Kathmandu and Kiran Sapkota from Kaski Pokhara. Appreciating their contribution to education development, teacher training, school management and overall development of students, the school honored everyone with 25 thousand rupees each.
It has been reported that Jitendra Ghimire, founder of Diamond Sports, College Readers, and media personality Ishwar Dhakal, who made outstanding contributions to the sports sector, were also honored.
The school has also honored teachers and employees who have done excellent work internally by giving cash awards and certificates. In addition, awards have also been given to students who have achieved excellent results throughout the academic session.
