The 21st convocation ceremony to be held today at Pokhara Metropolitan City-30 Khudi Dhungepatan will award degrees to those who have achieved higher education in various levels and faculties, informed Lok Prasad Dhakal, Information Officer of the university.
3,625 from the Faculty of Management, 2,506 from the Faculty of Science and Technology, 365 from the Faculty of Health Sciences, and 126 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be awarded degrees.
On the occasion, the Chancellor's Medal will be awarded to the student who scores the highest in the postgraduate level and the Vice-Chancellor's Medal to the one who scores the best in the undergraduate level. The 'Oxford' Medal will be awarded to the highest score in the undergraduate BCA program. 664 students who demonstrate academic excellence will be honored with the 'Dean's List' title this year.
