Following the criticism, the Tribhuvan University Executive Council also held discussions on holding convocation ceremonies at separate places and times for each faculty.

Tribhuvan University has nine faculties, including Medical, Engineering, Science and Technology, Forestry, Agriculture and Animal Science, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Law, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, and PhD programs. After Deepak Aryal was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor, Tribhuvan University had reached the conclusion of holding the convocation ceremonies on the same day and at the same place as before.
