Kathmandu University's 758th Executive Council meeting decided to continue the work of awarding certificates of appreciation and tokens of honor in two categories, and this will be continued in the coming days, said Kathmandu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Achyut Wagle. He said that the process of filling vacant posts in organizations has become challenging due to weak human resource production. According to him, the example of having to advertise for the same post repeatedly has raised questions about institutional efficiency.
He said that the results of the participants in the examination were not satisfactory due to the weakness of the 'ecosystem understanding' required under Contemporary Ecosystem Governance. He said that the current problem is the difficulty in filling the posts as per the demand due to the lack of qualified applications. According to him, the practice of recommendations and pressure from various local leaders and acquaintances still persists.
