Tribhuvan University has put forward a policy and program to distribute affiliations to public and private campuses for the operation of new subjects and programs, and it is going to adjust campuses with a low number of students.

The policy and program of Tribhuvan University for the fiscal year 2082/083 mentions that the process of adding programs and subjects to the constituent and affiliated (private, community) campuses as per the need will be taken forward.

Similarly, it has been stated that the process of merging the programs of the campuses with low student numbers since the past two academic sessions will be taken forward from the upcoming academic session. The policy and program mentions that the campuses in the Kathmandu Valley and outside will be integrated. The government's policy and program also included this provision. The University Grants Commission has put forward a program to provide financial assistance to the campuses that will be integrated.

Tribhuvan University is also going to revise and review the curriculum. 'The subjects and courses of the educational programs run by various bodies of Tribhuvan University will be reviewed. The existing curriculum for the study, teaching and research of undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs will be reviewed and revised to be suitable for the global market, contemporary and practical,' the policy and program states.

A policy and program for credit transfer at the inter-university and foreign university levels has been put forward. The policy and program mentions working in collaboration with foreign universities and research centers. The Tribhuvan University Senate meeting is being held at the Memorial Hall in Kirtipur on Wednesday to pass the policy and program.
