Tribhuvan University is set to make arrangements for Nepalis living abroad to study online. The policy and program to be presented in the Tribhuvan University Assembly on Wednesday states that subjects that do not have practical classes will be taught online through the campus.

It is stated that the examination of students studying online from abroad will be conducted in physical presence in collaboration with the Nepali Embassy.

TU has stated that Nepali citizens will get double benefits, both financially and academically, when they return home with an academic degree after completing their studies. Nepal Open University has been making arrangements for online teaching and online examinations for students living in the country and abroad.  During the Covid pandemic, online teaching and examinations were also made available in other universities.

The policy and program for the fiscal year 2082/083 will be presented at the TU Senate meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Chancellor Sushila Karki at 11 am on Wednesday. The pre-senate has already discussed the above in the policy and program on Tuesday. Similarly, according to the policy and program, various materials with the logo will be produced for TU's brand promotion and financial generation.

The policy and program mentions the production of souvenirs, gifts, equipment, clothes, etc. The policy and program mentions the formation of a high-level committee to bring uniformity and effectiveness to the facilities provided to teachers and employees in various institutes, faculties, campuses, departments, agencies, and self-reliant programs of the university.
