Education Minister's proposal to appoint computer teachers in all schools

Education, Science and Technology Minister Mahavir Pun has said that computer teachers will be arranged in every public school.

He said that the post of one computer teacher must be added in every school for teaching purposes so that students studying in public secondary schools are not deprived of computer education. He said that he had given instructions for the matter raised in the ministry on Tuesday. 

The Center for Education and Human Resource Development can increase teacher posts only with approval from the Ministry of Finance. There has been no increase in public school posts for 20 years. He has also directed the educational institutions to publish the results of the students within 3 months after the

examination. "Some universities take 8 months to 1 year to get the exam results.  It is an irreparable loss for students. Therefore, I have instructed the university to compulsorily release the exam results within 3 months," Minister Pun wrote on the social network, "The grants of the universities that do not release the exam results on time will be stopped . The National Examination Board has said that the examination results of 500,000 students of Class 12 will be published within 3 months.

Similarly, Minister Pun, who is also the Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, has instructed to make the university attractive by uprooting the bush in a large area within Kirtipur and making a footpath with gardens. It is mentioned in his instructions that big trees cannot be cut.
