It has been instructed to close educational consultancy organizations operating without permission. This instruction was given after it was found that some consultancies operating in Banepa of Kavre were operating without registration.
On Thursday, under the leadership of Kavre Assistant Chief District Officer Sudarshan Shrestha, the representatives of District Education Coordinating Unit, Industry and Commerce Office, Banepa Municipality monitored the consultancies.
Out of 15 educational consultancies monitored, only 5 consultancies were found to be operating with permission from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province, Assistant Chief District Officer Sudarshan Shrestha informed. According to him, Disney Sea Educational Consultancy and MEYVN Educational Consultancy have been found to be operating with permission from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Similarly, Rich It Learning Center, Educare Education Center and Success BCEC Educational Consultancy have been registered with the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province, he said. According to him, Global Hub Educational Consultancy, Mission Educational Consultancy, Banepa Hardford Educational Consultancy and SDC Educational Consultancy were found to be operating without permission from the relevant body. Similarly, SAR Educational Consultancy, Discovery Path Way Educational Consultancy are in the process of registration in the Ministry of Social Development of the province, so they have been instructed to operate only after registration, he said. After getting the information that the team had come for monitoring, the directors of DAB, Grace, Trial Maker and Cambridge Educational Consultancy locked themselves and ran away.
According to the list with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province, 12 educational consultancies are operating with permission in Kavre.
There are more than 5 dozen educational consultancies operating in Banepa and more than 100 educational consultancies in markets such as Dhulikhel, Panchkhaal, Panauti.
