It has been found that an Indian educational institution is illegally teaching a three-year 'Diploma in Nursing Assistant' course in Janakpurdham. It has been found that India's Suryakala Institute of Paramedical, under the ownership of the local Career Care Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. in Janakpurdham, claims to be affiliated with the Asian International University Manipur.

Sanjeev Kumar Sah, the head of the consultancy, said that the Indian university certificate is given by teaching the course of the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) of Nepal.

'Our education takes place in Janakpur. You have to go to Sursand in India to take the exam once a year," he said, "You don't have to take the entrance exam. We will arrange the rest of the admission.'

He said that he is teaching a nursing course in Nepal. He said that the nursing course in Nepal is being taught one year late. He claims that CTEVT will give equivalence easily after passing 80 percent of the course.

However, Achyut Dahal, Director of CTEVT Madhesh Province Office, said that there is no such provision and such a certificate will not be recognized in Nepal. According to him, CTEVT is the organization that gives permission, conducts and gives affiliation to teach technical education in Nepal. "There is no affiliation of any educational institution named Suryakala from here," he said, "The certificate of students studying in such an institution will not be recognized." There is no provision to give a license.' The institute, which started teaching last year with the first batch of 40 students, is taking admissions this year.

According to director Dahal, it is illegal for anyone to conduct any program without the consent of the government of Nepal, with foreign equivalence or affiliation with a foreign university. According to him, CTEVT gives equivalence to students who have studied technical subjects from foreign institutions. He claimed that no student in Nepal has obtained equivalence and license after studying nursing in India.

President of Nepal Nursing Council Sarla KC also said that there is no provision for Indian institutions to teach nursing in Nepal and take license. First of all, such an institution cannot teach. After that, there was no question of giving a license,' she said, 'There is no provision for students who have studied in institutions other than recognized colleges in Nepal to take the license exam.' CTEVT exam controller Umesh Mishra also said that it is illegal for Indian educational institutions to teach nursing in Nepal. "If you have done that, it is illegal, I will understand and proceed according to the law," he said.

Career care consultancy Ranjita Sah, who works in Janakpurdham, also said that she has moved from Ramanand Chowk in Janakpur and is now teaching nursing in hospital road where students have to live in compulsory hostel. Hostel is mandatory. Everyone has to stay,' she said, 'we will keep them in the hostel for the first year and see that from the second year everything is fine for the students, even if they don't stay.' Sah, who is also the owner of

consultancy, said that for the future of the students, dormitories have been made mandatory for the students who have homes in Janakpur. Sah said that the institute will charge 6 lakh fee to complete the three-year course and apart from that, the cost of extra activities such as hostel, clothes, laboratory etc. will be paid separately. She said that since 2018, health assistant course has been taught in India to students from Nepal in association with Sangam University in India.

"For the first time in India, we started teaching HA in 2018," he said, "even then people said it was fake." But we have continued even now.'

She said that after teaching HA in India, she got recognition from CTEVT in Nepal.

Local Vimalesh Singh, who previously ran an educational institution for the production of manpower in the health sector, said that the fake college became a reality after the Medical Education Commission introduced a provision for private colleges to have their own 100-bed hospital when conducting programs such as nursing.

He said that more than 60 colleges were closed a few years ago after the government introduced such a provision. According to him, after SAKAR introduced this provision, the number of authorized organizations decreased. He said that as the number of students increased, they reached fake colleges without getting a place in the approved institutions.
