CPN (Maoist Centre) Member of Parliament Barshman Pun objected to the postponement of the Senate meeting of Tribhuvan University and drew the attention of the government to hold the meeting immediately.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Deputy Secretary General Pun reminded that the Prime Minister himself is the chancellor of Tribhuvan University and drew attention to calling the Senate meeting immediately. He demanded that the academic calendar of Tribhuvan University be prepared immediately and asked the government to be responsible for the future of millions of youth.

He said, 'The chancellor of Nepal's oldest Tribhuvan University is the Honorable Prime Minister. A Senate meeting called for this week was adjourned abruptly. A similar incident happened last year as well. The then VC has also made an unofficial comment that he resigned due to non-cooperation of the government. I would like to draw the attention of the government through the speaker - the TU Senate meeting should be held immediately, an educational calendar should be made and I would like to draw the attention of the government to ensure the future by improving the educational quality of millions of youth.'
