Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appointed professor Kalyani Mishra Tripathi to the vacant post of registrar of Purvanchal University.

Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chancellor of the university, has appointed Mishra, currently a resident of Chitwan, today as per the University Act, 2050, on the recommendation of the vice-chancellor Professor Bijukumar Thapalia.

Mishra graduated from Tribhuvan University in Horticulture in 2016. He is also involved in various research and publication works.
