Dakneshwari municipality of Saptari has given two days holiday to the school as the rising heat may affect the students. The municipality issued a notification on Wednesday and gave summer holidays to public and private schools on Thursday and Friday.
"Considering the possibility that the heat may affect the health of the students, the teaching and learning activities of the school will be suspended for Thursday and Friday, except for the administrative ones," said the notice issued by the city head Ram Lakhan Malah.
The life here has been affected by the scorching sun from 8 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening.
