A complaint has been registered against the student leaders who vandalized the Vice-Chancellor Secretariat of Tribhuvan University. The administration has initiated the process of action against those who act against the norms of the university.

Last week, a group of 20-25 people entered the office of the vice-chancellor of the university, ransacked the secretariat, caused damage and physically assaulted the central officials, threatening them over the phone, using social media to assassinate the officials. The protest has been ing saying that those who do such acts are being given immunity under political guise.

The Tribhuvan University Registrar's office has informed that the necessary procedures have been taken forward to take legal action against the people involved in the said activity and to pay compensation for the loss of material property.

Even though Trivi has repeatedly requested relevant agencies including the Ministry of Home Affairs to take action against those involved in vandalism of public property according to prevailing laws, they have been given immunity.  This time, the university administration has requested all the relevant parties to take action against those involved in such activities as a complaint has been registered.
