Being sensitive to the problems in the education sector, the Union has drawn the attention of the government to allocate a minimum of 20 percent of the total budget to the education sector with a clear plan for the solution.
On Monday, the team led by Dujang Sherpa, the central president of the Indian Union, submitted an attention letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and made such a demand. The New Union, which submitted a 25-point attention letter to Finance Minister Paudel, has also demanded that the necessary allocation be made so that the Student Friendly School Education Act is effectively implemented from this financial year.
The policy of cost control should be implemented, the policy of providing concessions on the things that are directly related to the students' lives should be brought to attention, said Suraj Sejuwal, the spokesperson of the Union.
In the same way, in order to end the situation of having to go for foreign employment, the UN has drawn the attention of the government to create employment opportunities within the country by formulating a policy related to compulsory technical training targeted at the youth of the age group of 40 years.
