Dissatisfied parties of the Navy have vandalized the RR campus located on the Exhibition Road. Expressing their displeasure over the unanimous selection of the Campus Self-Association, the disgruntled group of the Navy union also vandalized the office of the campus chief Padma Kumar Adhikari.

The dissatisfied group of the union has been saying that they will not accept Swaviyu, which was unanimously selected on the campus. They have also registered a writ petition in the court saying that the election of SWVYU was done illegally.

On Wednesday, election coordinator Mahesh Bhattarai held an all-party meeting of representatives of active student organizations on the campus and informed that Swaviyu was elected unopposed.

By saying that they did not agree to the unanimous decision of the union, the activists of the Navy union vandalized the RR campus Lokesh Kumar Khadka of Aneraswaviyu as president, Sangamkumar Lama Tamang of All Revolutionaries as vice president, Shailendra Upadhyay from Navy union as secretary, and Ambika Adhikari from Aneraswaviyu as treasurer, according to the election committee. The membership positions are also distributed to Aneraswaviyu, New Union, All Revolutionaries, Aneraswaviyu, Socialist Students Union, Scientific Socialists and independent student groups.

Due to the dispute between the student organizations, the Swaviyu elections scheduled on March 5 could not be held in RR. The discussion was postponed after the Patan High Court ordered the election. The discussion has unanimously selected Swaviyu.
