The ruling Congress-UML parliamentary party and the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee have pledged to pass the School Education Bill by June 15.

In talks with the Nepal Teachers' Federation, which has been protesting since 29, committee chairman Ammar Bahadur Thapa, Congress whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire, and UML whip Mahesh Bertaula have committed to try to get the bill passed by the House of Representatives by June 15 of the current session. The

bill is under discussion in the sub-committee under the committee. A sub-committee was formed on March 8. The committee has set a deadline to submit the report to the sub-committee within 23rd of Baisakh.
