The newly appointed Minister of Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant has resumed his post. After taking oath at Rashtrapati Bhavan Sheetal Niwas, he went to Singha Durbar and resumed his post.

During that time, he said that the demands of the protesting teachers will be addressed through negotiations. Stating that he has just assumed the responsibility of the ministry, he made it clear that he will proceed with information about the education sector.

After the then education minister Vidya Bhattarai resigned, UML's standing committee member Pant was appointed as the education minister . President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Pant as the Minister of Education on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday.
