Voting for the new leadership of the Independent Students' Union has been completed at Jai Prithvi Campus in Bajhang. Voting started at 8 am on Wednesday morning and ended at 4 pm on this campus of Sudurpaschim University.
Polling officer Virat Kathayat informed that 313 votes were cast in this campus where there are a total of 345 student voters. This is about 91 percent of the total electorate. There is competition between separate panels of Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh, Aneraswaviyu, Aneraswaviyu revolutionaries and Aneraswaviyu (socialist) for the Jaya Prithvi Campus Swaviyu elections.
Assistant Campus Head Lal Bahadur Bohra said that the voting was completed peacefully and the counting of votes will begin shortly. According to him, the vote results will be announced by Wednesday night.
