Tulsipur sub-metropolis has ended the process of teaching by primary school teachers: Mayor Khadka

Mayor Tikaram Khadka said that Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city has ended the process of primary school teachers teaching in secondary schools and started teaching from subject teachers.

In the second session of the 'Power of Lumbini' program organized by Kantipur Media Group in Bhairahawa, Khadka said that he has worked to elevate the education sector by using the authority and resources of the local level.

According to Khadka, the sub-metropolitan municipality managed the teachers by using their own resources because the federal government did not ensure the level of teachers' posts. "The association does not provide posts, the province also does not have that right, in such a situation, it is the obligation of the local level to use the resources available to them to arrange subject-specific teachers," Khadka said.

According to the existing Education Act, the transfer of teachers cannot be done by the local level, but the case arose after Tulsipur sub-metropolitan decided to transfer the teachers through its education committee. "We had transferred teachers to Kaj, even though there was a case against this decision, the High Court has decided in our favor," said Khadka, "There has been such confusion and confusion in the education sector for a long time."

Chief Khadka said that Tulsipur sub-metropolis has been working on various improvements in education, health, waste management and tourism promotion. "We are teaching 700 students in 8 technical subjects through Metro College," he said.

He said that for the improvement of health services, the sub-metropolis has brought a city-level 15-bed hospital into operation. Khadka informed that health services are being provided by giving priority to the poor citizens through this hospital. Khadka says that for waste management, Tulsipur has started the practice of producing organic fertilizers and distributing them in the market. He said that Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city has conducted homestay targeting Kumal and Tharu communities by including the local community in the promotion of

tourism. "It is contributing significantly to making the local community self-reliant," said Khadka.
