Independent student union elections are going to be held in Kathmandu valley 3 campus. Trichandra, Ratnarajya Lakshmi RR and Nepal Law Campus announced the date of the election which could not be held on March 5.
According to the campus, voting will be held on March 13 in Trichandra, March 16 in RR and March 19 in Nepal Law Campus. Angdamani Gautam, Election Officer of Trichandra Campus has announced that voting for the postponed election will be held from 8 am on the 13th. Similarly, Lilaprasad Limbu, the election officer at RR campus, said that voting will be held on March 16 under the election of Swaviyu. He said that the date of voting will be fixed after the all-party meeting with the student organization and candidates. .
The voting process of the RR campus was postponed at the last moment after the lockdown of ANERASWVIU. The voting was postponed due to internal disputes in Trichandra. In all the two campuses, the process including registration of candidature has been completed.
The process of candidacy registration has not yet started. The Law Campus has said that the voting will be held on March 19. Electoral Officer Kesramani Aryal said that the program of registration of candidature will be held on 13th of Chait. In Kathmandu's Padmakanya and Askal campuses, where the election could not be held on March 5, the leadership of Swaviyu has been elected after voting. In Padmakanya, the rebel independent group of Navy Sangh and the panel of Aneraswaviyu in Askal have won.
University campus Kirtipur, Saraswati, Patan and public youth campus, it is not decided when the elections will be held.
