Independent student union elections have been completed in all the four campuses of Panchthar. In one of the four campuses, the leadership of the Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh, which is close to the Congress, in one of the UML, and in two of the campuses, the leadership of the students' organization Akhil Krantikari, which is close to the Maoists, has been established.

Upendra Thapa of Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh has been elected as the President of Panchthar Multipurpose Campus. There were 489 voters in this campus, 343 voted.

According to the counting of votes completed on Tuesday night, the office bearers of Swaviyu were elected under the leadership of Thapa, defeating Wimala Puri of Amalenikat Aneraswaviyu.  Chief Electoral Officer Durga Prasad Baral said that Thapa won with 196 votes. Similarly, Sujan Kumar Tamang was elected as secretary and Chetan Nepal as treasurer.

Similarly, the panel of Amalenikat Aneraswaviyu has won in Tharpu campus. Here, a new committee of Swaviyu was elected under the leadership of Suresh Majhi. Three members of the committee including Ichhangsa Kamwang as secretary and Numa Mawo as treasurer have been directly elected.

In the same way, Swaviyu office bearers have been elected in the Ravi campus under the leadership of Poonam Lavati, a Maoist close revolutionary. Three members were elected as the secretary of the newly elected committee, Rupa Thapa and as the treasurer of Resu Wik Niwashit. 3 members were directly elected.

Similarly, in Yasok campus, under the leadership of Taramaya Lavati, an all-revolutionary, Swaviyu officials have been elected. Three members have been elected directly, including Anju Lavati as the secretary of the newly elected committee and Himadevi Bhandari as the treasurer. Counting of votes is going on at Panchthar Multipurpose Campus, which has the highest number of voters since
