A panel of independent students has won the elections of Deukhuri Multipurpose Campus in Lamhi. All the candidates who ran on behalf of the independent students were elected after defeating the political party organizations.

Milan Chowdhury was elected as the Chairman by getting 446 votes. His nearest competitor, Shambhu Ji of Akhil Samyukt, secured 257 votes. Jisi was supported by Aneraswaviyu, Aneraswaviyu (Revolutionary) and Aneraswaviyu of Samajwadi Party. Rajan Bhusal of Congress close Navy Sangh got 242 votes.

Anukumari Yadav has won as secretary with 399 votes, while Ayushma Chaudhary has been elected as treasurer with 369 votes. Among the members, Laxmikumari Yadav got 389 votes, Sarita Pun 408, Ashika Chaudhary 405, Sudeep Chaudhary 399, Anilnath Yogi 400 and Kamna Chaudhary 393 votes, Election Officer Kanta Prasad Chaudhary said. He informed that 956 votes were cast out of 1,824 voters.
