Independent Students' Union (SSU) of Pokhara Nursing Campus has been elected by the panel of SSU. According to the final results, Pratibha Bhandari has been elected as the president. Bhandari defeated Rachna Poudel of Navy Sangh by 140 votes.
Bhandari got 242 votes and Paudel got 122 votes, Election Officer Associate Professor Sharda Sharma informed. Aneraswaviyu's Salina Shrestha defeated Navy Sangh's Sweta Koirala as secretary. Shrestha got 268 votes and Koirala got 74 votes. Kusum Gautam of Aneraswaviyuki got 254 votes as treasurer.
Sushma Baral of Navy got 90 votes. There was a difference of 164 votes between these two candidates. Among the members, Dipa Acharya of Aneraswaviyuki got 262 votes, Komal Rawal Chhetri got 258 votes, Ajita Gharti Magar got 256 votes, Himani Tharu got 261 votes, and Sachina Somai got 258 votes. Navy Sangh's Saraswati Khanal got 79, Martina Thapa Magar got 84, Kiran Sen got 85, Kriti Sigdel got 81, Smita Gautam got 82 votes.
On the proportional side, Aneraswaviyu has received 270 votes and Navy Sangh has received 75 votes. Electoral Officer Sharma informed that the seats won by 2 organizations will be distributed on Wednesday afternoon. There are 352 voters in this campus, and 347 votes were cast in the voting on Tuesday.
