The youth student leaders of All Revolutionaries have won the presidentship of Swaviyu after defeating the candidates of the power alliance in the Melamchi and Jalvere campuses of the district.

In the Melamchi Valley Campus of Helambu, Navy Sangh and ANERASWAVIU joined forces to elect Navy Sangh's Roshan Giri as the president of SWAVIU. Revolutionary Rajan Giri won by beating him by 33 votes.

In the voting held on Tuesday, Giri of the ruling coalition got 40 votes, while Rajan Giri of the revolutionaries won by getting 73 votes. 

On the other hand, defeating the candidate of the ruling coalition in the Jalvere Valley campus of Balefi  Ashok Dhungana has won with panel. 

Elsewhere, the alliance's victory

The candidate of the power alliance has won in Arani College of Barhabise. The candidate of the Navy Association and the Secretary of the Aneraswaviyu have won the post of chairman. Kavita Thami, a revolutionary, was unanimously elected as treasurer.  The revolutionaries won by defeating the ruling coalition candidates in Jalvere and Melamchi

The atmosphere became tense for some time after the ruling coalition and the youth of revolutionaries shook hands saying that fake voters had come to vote in Chautara. 

Earlier, Gokul Khadka, candidate of Aneraswadi University, was unanimously elected president of Swadiwa University at Indravati Multipurpose Campus in Melamchi. Aayush Shrestha of Navy Sangh was elected unopposed as the president of Kakkaling Harsiddhi Campus in Liskhumpakhar, while the candidates of Aneraswaviyu and Krantikari were unanimously elected in other posts.
