Swayam Shrestha, an independent candidate, has been elected as the president of Pulchok Engineering Campus under the Institute of Engineering Studies.
According to the campus, Diwas Sapkota, the candidate of All Revolutionary Party, who is close to the Maoists, has won the post of secretary. Shrestha and Sapkota won by defeating the candidates of the ruling Navy Sangh and Aneraswaviyu.
Aneraswavyu candidate Viraj Aryal was victorious in the 2079 SWVYU elections. Even though he was the candidate this time, he was defeated. Similarly, Albert Dhakal of the Navy has won as treasurer.
