Aneraswawiyu candidates have won in the Swawiyu election held at the Marsyangdi campus in the headquarters Bensi Sahar.
Madan Kumar Vika of ANERASWA was elected as the president after defeating Purna Bahadur Gurung of Navy Sangh by 3 votes in the elections held on Tuesday.
According to the vote results announced late on Tuesday night, Vic of Aneraswawiyu got 199 votes while Gurung of Navy Union got 196 votes. Ayush Suna of Akhil Krantikari got 14 votes.
According to election coordinator Arjun Suyal, 413 votes were cast in Marsyangdi campus where there are 549 voters.
Ganesh Adhikari of Aneraswaviyu won as the secretary of SWVYU with 224 votes. His nearest rival, Santosh Vick of Navy Sangh, got 151 votes. Pavitra Tamang of Akhil Krantikari got 18 votes.
Muna Gurung of Aneraswaviyuki won with 206 votes. Rival Jamuna Shrestha of Navy Sangh got 191 votes.
Members of Aneraswawiyu, Bishle Gurung, Mamta Ghimire, Sudarshan Paudel and Hemkumari Vick were elected, while Varsha Rimal of Navy Sangh was also elected as a member. Rukmani Wardeva of Aneraswaviyuk won by the round robin, with 194 votes tied for 3 people.
