The Nepal Students Union has formed 14 different committees targeting the election of Tribhuvan University Independent Student Union on 5th Chaitra.
Suraj Sejuwal, spokesperson of the association informed that the committees have been formed to elect the candidates for direct and proportional posts of the association and to make the participation of the association in the elections more effective and result-oriented.
According to him, Pankaj Kumar Chhetri has been appointed as the coordinator of the Inter-Student Organization Coordination Committee, Yangjor Karki as the Coordinator of the Publicity Committee, Adarsh Malla as the Coordinator of the Monitoring Committee, Vikal Rai as the Coordinator of the Manifesto Preparation Committee.
Similarly, Nischal Maharjan has been appointed as Valley Coordination and Volunteer Mobilization Committee Coordinator, Deepak Ojha as Faculty and Staff Coordination Committee Coordinator, Sharan Kumar Basnet as University Coordination Committee Coordinator, Sushant Acharya as Election Literacy and Orientation Coordinator, Ramchandra Bhandari as District and Contact Coordination Committee Coordinator, Vijay Dhungana as Security Agency and Administration Coordination Committee Coordinator and Aditya Kumar Das as Social Organization and Group Coordination Committee Coordinator.
