In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Red Bengala Foundation is going to hold an international conference for quality education.The organizers said that the 3-day conference to be held in Lalitpur from 5th to 7th January will discuss educational leadership and good governance, teaching and learning, pre-primary education, technology and innovation, climate change and education and inclusion and socio-emotional development.
Foundation is going to organize the conference as the third edition. Shanta Dixit, president of the foundation, said that the conference was organized earlier in 2013 and 2019. She said that the conference was organized to find ways to improve the quality of education. "The conference searches for ways to create quality education through dialogue between policy makers, researchers and stakeholders related to education," she said.
Reviewing the state of education and making a report and submitting the recommendations from the conference to the government to create international level education foundation says . "The purpose of the conference is to discuss the quality of education and ensure quality education in the classroom by solving the shortcomings in education," Foundation said in a statement issued on Monday .
It is said that the goal of the conference is to give a positive turn to the future education system of Nepal. It is said that more than 500 academicians from the country and abroad will participate in the conference. Dixit said that the report will be prepared after discussions in 63 sessions. Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education Ram Prasad Sharma said that the suggestions received after the conference will help the government to improve the education system.
