A modern science laboratory has come into operation at Panchadeval Secondary School in Mehelmudi of Sannitriveni Rural Municipality.

Students studying in schools from class 1 to 12 have been brought into the laboratory for science-related experimental work. Jayakumari Devkota, principal of the school, said that a science laboratory was established and put into operation with the aim of providing a library, laboratory and information technology to the school as part of the Empowered Girls Project in Kirdak Nepal Kalikot and Sannitriveni Rural Municipality.

Kirdak Nepal Kalikot to establish a laboratory with the help of Plan Nepal 6 lakh 24 thousand 37 rupees, rural municipality 1 lakh 50 thousand and the school's contribution 50 thousand to establish a laboratory with a total of 8 lakh 24 thousand 37 rupees. Initiatives are also being taken.

Science teacher Ratnlal Adhikari showed some students using the materials during the laboratory opening and handover program on Friday. Village Vice President Parvati Singh Sanjyal said that after the establishment of a laboratory in the school, it is expected that the students' learning will be very effective. After the science lab was established, students from class 8 to 12  Students are going to benefit.

There was a difficulty in conducting experimental classes required for students because there was no laboratory in the school. After getting enough material for the laboratory through Sannitriveni rural municipality and partner organizations, a separate laboratory has been set up in the classroom of the school. With a separate laboratory classroom, students will be able to learn practical work easily.

KC, chairman of the rural municipality, inaugurated the laboratory during a program on Friday. While inaugurating the laboratory, he said that the rural municipality has given education as the first priority to increase the quality of education.

Giving information about the supported materials, Empowered Girls Project Coordinator Baliraj Shahi informed that in Panchdeval High School, 2 million sex-friendly toilets, 6 million science labs, 5 million model classroom management and 450 thousand green schools have been supported with 35 million.

To connect children with science and technology, the establishment and operation of modern education and science laboratories is a golden opportunity for students, said Devnarayan Sanjyal, president of Vivyas. He said that he is confident that the students will be able to touch, read and learn from the materials handed over.
