Three people were killed in Russian airstrikes in the Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions of eastern Ukraine on Sunday, local officials said.
Moscow and Kiev have been repeatedly attacking each other in recent weeks. US-led talks to end the war that began in February 2022 have failed to make any progress.
Oleksandr Gandzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk region’s regional military administration, said on Telegram that one person had been killed and nine others wounded in attacks in three districts.
He said a 70-year-old woman had died in the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk.
Vitaly Dakivnych, head of the Poltava region’s regional military administration, said two people had been killed and 13 others wounded in the Russian airstrikes on Saturday evening, including six children. The Russian Defense Ministry said 239 Ukrainian drones had been shot down overnight.
