G7 leaders have agreed to increase pressure on Russia to end the ongoing war in Ukraine. Leaders at the summit in Evian-les-Bains, France, discussed tightening sanctions on Moscow through various means, including the energy sector.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also attended the summit. During the summit, he met with US President Donald Trump and other G7 leaders.

The summit also discussed the situation in West Asia. US President Trump has discussed regional stability with his allies after the latest deal with Iran. The three-day summit is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday.
