Five people were killed and 19 others injured in a Russian drone strike on a market in the Ukrainian city of Nikopol on Saturday, officials said.
Regional Governor Oleksandr Ganja said in a Telegram post that the attack killed three women and two men. One of the 19 injured, a 14-year-old girl, was in “serious” condition, he said. Regional police also confirmed the incident in the northeastern city of Kharkiv on Saturday.

Police said 11 people were injured in the attack in the northern Sumy region. Photos released by Ukrainian emergency services showed a building on fire from the attack.
One person was killed and four others were seriously injured in a missile and drone strike in the southern Rostov region on the border with Russia and Ukraine, regional governor Yuriy Slusar said.
