US President Donald Trump has threatened to destroy Iran's energy infrastructure. On the 23rd day of the war, he said on the social network Truth Social, "If Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz within the next 48 hours, we will destroy its various energy infrastructure." On Sunday, Israel launched a major attack on Tehran. Explosions were heard in the eastern part of the city.

The Iranian army has warned that if its energy centers are attacked, it will destroy various energy infrastructures related to the United States and Israel in West Asia. Iran's Atomic Energy Organization said on Saturday night that the attack on the nuclear center in Natanz by the United States and Israel did not cause major damage. The energy organization said that there was no 'radiation leak' from the attack.

Earlier, Iran launched a major counterattack on the Israeli cities of Arad and Dimona on Saturday night. These cities are near Israel's nuclear center. Iran claims that about 200 people were injured when missiles were fired at the military base. Israel said 100 people were injured and no one was killed.

Israeli defense systems failed to intercept the projectiles. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Saturday night as a “very difficult evening” for his country. “Tonight is a very difficult night in this campaign for our future,” he wrote on social media on Saturday. “I have instructed my director general to coordinate with all government ministries to provide all necessary assistance.”

Since the war began on February 28, Iran has fired more than 400 ballistic missiles at Israel, and 92 percent of them have been intercepted, Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani said. “Our interception rate is about 92 percent. This is a high success rate,” he said.

Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga has urged the BRICS alliance to play an independent role in preventing attacks on Iran. India currently holds the BRICS presidency. He has also proposed the creation of a regional security concept among West Asian countries. Iran's Health Ministry has said that more than 1,500 Iranians have been killed in the Israeli-American attacks so far. More than 20,000 have been injured, and 7 hospitals and 36 ambulances have been damaged.

Saudi Arabia has said that Iran is continuously carrying out drone attacks on its country. Saudi Arabia said that about 60 drones were launched from Iran on Saturday night. Saudi officials have also said that three ballistic missiles were fired towards Riyadh province. Saudi Arabia said that one of the missiles was intercepted and the other two fell in unmanned areas. Saudi Arabia has ordered all Iranian diplomatic and military personnel to leave the country within 24 hours.

Earlier, Qatar made a similar announcement last Wednesday. Iran has fired missiles at a US military base in Bahrain. The UAE, Bahrain, Britain, France and Germany issued a joint statement condemning Iran's attacks on commercial ships and public infrastructure in the Strait of Hormuz. The statement said Iran must immediately cease its threats, bombings and drone and missile attacks in the Strait.

Britain said Iran had fired a ballistic missile at a joint US-UK military base on the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia. The area is about 4,000 kilometres from Iran. Britain had allowed the US to use the military base for defensive purposes during its war with Iran. A senior Iranian official has denied Iran's involvement in the attack on Diego Garcia.
