Kathmandu. Twelve health workers have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on a primary health center in the southern Lebanese city of Borj.
Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health has confirmed the Israeli airstrike. The ministry said that doctors, nurses, paramedics and other health workers were killed in the airstrike on the health center.
Similarly, two people were killed when a team of health workers was shot in Al-Sawana, southern Lebanon. The Lebanese government has strongly condemned the continued attacks on health infrastructure and health workers as a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
According to the latest figures from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, at least 773 people have been killed across the country due to Israeli attacks since March 2. Of these, 103 are children, and the number of injured has reached at least 1,933, the ministry said in a statement.
