Another large bomb blast rocked the Iranian capital Tehran on Tuesday morning. According to local media, about 12 missiles were fired in the suburb of Pardis in the morning.

Pictures of smoke rising from the Alborz mountain range outside the capital have been seen on social media.

The Israeli military said simultaneous strikes were being carried out on military bases in Tehran and Beirut. Explosions were also heard in the city of Karaj outside the capital and in the central city of Isfahan. Iran has also carried out attacks in several countries in the Middle East. The US State Department has ordered all citizens to leave Jordan, Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar and Kuwait except for emergencies. Donald Trump told CNN that "the big surprise of this war is Iran's attack on Arab countries in the Middle East."

He warned that a major attack on Iran was yet to come. He claimed that the aim of the war was to destroy Iran's naval and missile capabilities, end its nuclear program and stop its support for military groups in the Middle East.
