Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal in Kathmandu said that it is closely monitoring the current airspace restrictions in the Middle East and is coordinating with international airlines operating at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Gyanendra Bhul, the authority's joint spokesperson, said, 'We are in close coordination with international airlines serving Kathmandu. If there is any immediate problem related to international travel, the information will be updated in a timely manner.'
The authority has urged passengers to seek information through the official channels of its airlines.
