The Gaza Health Ministry said 11 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip on Saturday. The ministry said they were taking refuge in a refugee camp when the attack occurred.
AFP quoted Munir al-Bars, the director general of the ministry under the Hamas authority, as saying that 20 more people were injured and that Israel had targeted civilians in apartments and camps.
The wounded had been taken to hospitals in Gaza City in the north and Khan Younis in the south for treatment, Bars said.
Israel continued to commit serious violations of the ceasefire agreement amid a severe shortage of medical supplies, medicines and medical equipment, Bars said.
The US-brokered ceasefire since October entered its second phase in January, which includes the disarmament of Hamas, a gradual Israeli withdrawal and the deployment of an international stabilization force.
Israel and Hamas have repeatedly accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
The Hamas-run Gaza government press office said that seven members of a displaced family were killed in Saturday's attack.
According to the Ministry of Health, 509 people have died since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10.
