The Fuxing Bullet Train departed from Yan'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province for the provincial capital Xi'an on Friday morning. The departure not only inaugurated a new route but also marked an important milestone in the development of national transportation infrastructure. 

The Fuxing Bullet Train is based on China's indigenous technology and will provide passengers with a comfortable journey while maintaining high speed. The 50,000-kilometer feat is expected to help shorten the distances between different cities in China and boost economic activities.
